Type4 Cylinders are of a PA or PE liner and carbon fiber fully-wrapped composite design for CNG vehicle or fuel cell vehicle(FCV). Type3 CNG Cylinders are of an aluminum liner and carbon fiber fully-wrapped composite design. The Type 3 design is higher cost than Type 2, but much lighter weight.
